1931 was an important year for the Anticoli's. It was then that Antonio and
Sarah opened the first family eatery on Fifth Street in downtown Dayton, Ohio.
Twenty years later, in 1951, the restaurant was relocated to Salem Avenue.
Making the decision to offer something more "casual-upscale",
La Piazza was
opened just north of Dayton in 1992.
Now, almost seven decades since the first loyal customer was served, Caffé Anticoli
has been created to bring the best of our long history to you.
An open kitchen and four distinctly different dining areas all come together with the sole purpose of providing the
perfect setting to deliver the menu, offering both Italian and American selections.
While we've come a long way since the beginning, we constantly strive to provide our treasured customers with the very
best of food, service, and ourselves. The year 2000 marks the beginning of our next 70 years.
We hope you enjoy!
